Local Law 97

Local Law 97 (LL97) of 2019 mandates that buildings over 25,000 square feet must meet new energy efficiency and greenhouse gas emissions limits as of 2024, with stricter limits coming into effect in 2030.

Local Law 84

Local Law 84 (LL84) requires buildings over 25,000 square feet to annually report energy and water use through ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager. Data must be submitted by May 1.

All applicable buildings must submit a Building Emissions Report to the Department of Buildings. The report is due every year. Logical Buildings will help determine the LL97 compliance pathway for each building. This includes a calculation of annual emissions based on historical energy usage, ongoing carbon emissions reporting, data verification by a Registered Design Professional, and accurate/ timely submissions of the report.
