Lower peak energy usage
Reduce peak energy usage, which helps lower reliance on fossil fuel power plants.
Join in demand response
Engage with programs like GridRewards, which incentivize energy reduction during high-demand periods.
Track and take active steps to reducing their carbon footprint
Logical Buildings is part of the Department of Energy's Grid-interactive Efficient Buildings (GEB) program. This initiative is designed to help buildings intelligently manage their energy use and reduce their carbon footprint. As GEB climate leaders, facilities not only save money and enhance the electrical grid’s capacity to handle peak demand but also significantly cut down their carbon emissions.
Working directly with building operators during these peak demand events, Logical Buildings provides immediate relief to the electric grid while generating grid services revenue for the building. Facilities managers are rewarded for their active participation. They are particularly proud to share their experiences and the recognition they receive through these awards, demonstrating their commitment to a sustainable future.
