In 2023, the building unlocked access to hourly electricity usage data with Logical Buildings’ SmartKit AI platform, pulling data straight from the building’s Con Edison smart meter — no additional hardware required.

Logical Buildings worked with Mickey McCreesh, Resident Manager, to design building-specific, energy-saving actions to take during times of peak demand on the electric grid. During summer peak demand events, these actions generated significant emissions reductions and nearly $25,000 in total gross revenue. Energy reductions during the July 28th event (11 am-3 pm) can be seen in the heatmap below.
